Kyon is your ordinary high school freshman who has long given up on his childhood dreams of encountering the fantastic and supernatural...or so he thought. From the very first day of school, his classmate-the beautiful but eccentric Haruhi Suzumiya-makes it very clear that her only desire is to meet aliens, time travelers, and psychics! I'd agree with other reviewers here, it is a little fast paced and you do need to have experienced the anime or novels to understand what is going on. Admittedly it is 5* because of the TV series, BUT IT IS HARUHI SUZUMIYA - A force of nature to be reckoned with! I enjoyed it a lot.
It really didn't help that I have no idea about baseball at all.
