I was so annoyed by all the miscommunication, or lack of communication, issues on both characters’ sides, but maybe even slightly more with the way Natalie was written, because one would think that someone who is pursuing a PhD in her area of expertise would have enough social skills/emotional intel...

I finished this - finally. It took me far longer than a book should, largely because I had such a hard time with...everything. First issue - h. I get why many don't like first person POV because it puts you in the head of someone who...may behave/think in ways that have you wondering the same thin...

Wow! What intensity! I was wiped out when I finished reading THE PROFESSIONAL. I loved Natalie and Sevastyan. These are two strong characters who have to force the other into communicating, believing what is said, and accepting that what is said is true. Natalie is picked up from a small town and pu...

The sex was surprisingly enjoyable and consensual but the rest of the book was terrible. The plot was just a sad attempt at padding in between the sex and I suspect you where supposed to check your brain at the door but I, personally, found it impossible.

On the other hand, the hero's controlling behavior outside of the bedroom made my nerves twitch. The whole "I'm preventing ...

Since I read all 3 parts, gathered I can rate the complete book. Even though the storyline and the character development were more of 3.5 stars, I did love our hero... and sex was sizzling hot, aptly constituting the category it was meant to fall under. My ratings:Part 1, 4.5 starsPart 2, 3.5 starsP...

Russian hunks have a lot in common with sheikh heroes. Totally swoon-worthy in a guilty pleasure fantasy, but absolutely inconceivable in real life. As far as this highly entertaining story is concerned, I loved everything about it, except at some times, the hero who was too secretive and whose beha...

I loved her Immortals After Dark series, so I had high hopes going into this book. It was fucking horrible; I guess more things can be excused in paranormal romance or something. Sevastyan was a raging, controlling alpha-asshole and Natalie kept saying that she was strong, independent and wo...
