I'd say this is 3 and 1/2 to 4 stars. A pleasant, enjoyable read with likable characters. The story was engaging and the conflict believable. The best part of the book was the absence of all the rubbish one usually has to deal with. Here the protagonists were smart and reasonable, there were no cart...

It was okay. Main female character got on my nerves after awhile. She was way too perfect.

Not bothering with a big, long review on this one. It was a filler book really while I decided what series I wanted to start reading next.It was just okay, had some cute parts and I got a bit misty eyed here and there, but I found Iain's character a bit of an arrogant ass actually, so that kind of r...

A better than average historical romance, but I think I am about 30 years past this level of story. Don't know what led me to put it on my "to read" list in the first place??

The only reason this doesn't get a 5 is the anachronistic language. Otherwise this story was perfect, if a little idealistic.

Garwood's Medieval's hold a special place in my heart. While The Wedding will always be my favorite, The Secret comes in at a close second.
