While there was some problems -- I figured out who the murderer was within the first fifty pages -- where this one works is the why someone is so callously disposed of. I know I have said this before, but this has been the best William Monk in the series. I absolutely love Hester, a strong heroine, and the majority of the book focused on her. Plus, it sucked me in and kept me going
