Good book, good story and love the book cover... Unfortunately what the story is about is true and that makes it scary, when you read this book it will change you , it happens to me every time I use water. I love it and its good because it makes the reader think.

Water is scarce and is controlled by a few. The earth is more desert than green. People eat synthetic food and drink synthetic water while the real thing is a rare treasure that's worth a fortune. It's an interesting premise and I enjoyed the world and the plot of the book. Where it fell flat, a...

Technically I live in The Republic of Illinowa and I loved the map that the author included in the front of the book as I used it to follow the adventures of the characters traveled as they tried to find Kia and uncover the truth of who he really was. I really felt moved by this story as I was sitti...

They are lucky to get the government-issued desalinated water. This is water that comes from the ocean but is run through a purification process to...

The Water Wars takes us to a future where water is in need and people will do anything to get their hands on some. I read The Water Wars because the premise seemed all too possible and thought it would provide some insight into how we might want to change the way we treat our environment. There seem...

“The water wars” non mi ricordavo neanche di averlo nelle cose da leggere e naturalmente neanche mi ricordavo la trama, ma una distopia è una distopia e anche questo è un buon libro.Siamo in un mondo futuristico in cui le risorse d’acqua della terra sono quasi al limite e i confini geografici così c...

To put it simply, this was not a good read. Far from it. Recent Dystopian YA fictions that I have read have really disappointed me (For e.g. Ship Breaker). The Water Wars was worse than Ship Breaker. The premise was excellent, and that is what appealed to me. But Cameron Stracher fails to explore th...
