When her grandfather dies she has the option to stay in her island home or strike out for an unfamiliar environment liv...

Kit has lived all her life in Barbados and life in Connecticut is much different. The Puritans have a much different view of things than Kit does. They are already sus...

Read the FULL REVIEW!Kit has moved from her home in Barbados to live with her relatives in Connecticut. She doesn’t particularly like it there with the strict and narrow minded Puritans. Her high spirits can’t stand it!

I read this when I was young. Maybe around ten or eleven? It's been so long that I honestly can't remember much other than that I know I'd liked it quite a bit at the time. I think I should pick up a new copy seeing as how my original was lost sometime during one of my moves in the last 10-15 years....
