I think some justify the cost with "waiting" versus instant gratification. I'm more of a deferred gratification kind of gal so I'll just wait.
I just read the serial once its both collected, and on sale, like I got the entire brie collection for 99 cents
Femdom/femsub? I'll take any of those =)
On the thought/thread of reviewing books, I am learning my way. I've always been well-read, but I did not always share my reviews online. Previously, I would share a review here or there. Within the last year or so, I have really moved to review most of what I read, and it now includes erotica, though I have to tread lightly since, one, I blog under my name, and two, my blog is a more general blog, i.e. I am not a sex blogger. Having said that, when I do review adult titles (erotica, bdsm, other smut, nonfiction), I do try to come at it as an informed reader who is a bit of laity (again, I am not a sex blogger) so as to help people who may be curious about the genres, or maybe wish they could ask their local librarian but can't. Overall, I am a very open reader who reads in various areas, and erotica and bdsm (and related) so happen to be included in my reading profile. BTW, I may have to contact Jim above. Always looking to expand the reading horizon. Paz.
Hi Jim, how about we create a new thread for you to ask? This way, people can see that directly than in a welcome message? I'll create a thread for you.
Jim, here's your post - http://booklikes.com/thread/349/jim-lyon-s-review-books

Thanks! I deleted your post from this thread so that it didn't confuse people.
Hey there BA! *waves* I'm checking out the discussion groups for the first time on BL today. I wish they'd have an edit button is the first thing I can think of :

Hello! Thanks for finding us. :)
Hi Folks,

Well, given how quiet this forum is, I guess this is a post that won't get read, but what the hey!

I'm Michelle Knight, author of The Companion - http://booklikes.com/the-companion-michelle-knight/book,12964809 - not that you'd tell that because they've currently got my book attributed to the Michelle Knight who happened to be the victim of kidnapping and torture. Nice work Book Likes!

Anyway, the book is based on my personal experiences but is written to give vanilla people an insight in to our world. There is a fair review of it on GoodReads - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23556549-the-companion - so I don't think many people here will take to it, 'cause there isn't that much in the way of hot action. It is more romance/relationship based, and aimed at the non-initiated.

Anyway, thought I'd say Hi and, if the other Michelle Knight sues Book Likes, at least there is something on record to say, "I told them!"

Sorry, I've been out of town. Welcome! It is pretty quite here. We don't have much discussion here as we'd originally planned.
Need help?
