You're welcome. Just wanted to post again to test things. I'm only posting this once, so if you get a double comment, that is still the bug you had thought you had fixed. I haven't noticed it all that often, but I did notice it for your last post.

Thanks again!
Can a librarian check this out for me? I just added a new edition for Champion of the Scarlet Wolf (Book 2) - the ebook edition (not kindle) with the ISBN of 9781935560357 and a little more info than the kindle entry. The kindle entry also shows the ISBN as well as the ASIN which precludes me from adding the new edition with the ISBN, so I entered ticking the no ISBN box. Can you please add the ISBN to the ebook edition?

And Booklikes? Maybe you could find a way that if there's an ASIN for a kindle edition, an ISBN cannot be entered as well?

Thanks!

Fixed.

I try to separate the ISBN and ASIN records whenever I see them; it would be brilliant if the system didn't allow them to be combined on the same record.

You're welcome! :)
Could it possibly be that it accidentally shows the number of views instead of the number of comments? Last night there were some that had more than 100 "comments", when there actually were only a few.

Ah, I only stumbled across the ones with the actual number of comments being lower than the displayed number so far. Yes, it wouldn't make sense the other way around.
I'm seeing some oddities with my comment counts, too.
I see it on some posts in my Dashboard feed (for example, "10" comments, when actually there are 2), but not all of them.
We are sorry about this issue with comments, it is related to the spam filters and blocking their activity. It might look like there is no much logic there and seemingly has nothing to do with this filters we have been working on, but its is all related.

We know about this problem and it is temporary - work in progress. Once it's done on our side we will let you know, so that then you can verify it and than we will see if there is any actual bug. We are sorry about the frustration, it is a necessary evil to get the spammers off your blogs.

Also, if there are particular examples of the posts where the comment count is messed up, paste a link to the post here, or send it to the contact@booklikes.com, it will help our guy to double-check his changes and run his code through all possible places on the platform.

Thanks for your help and again, sorry to annoy you guys with breaking things.
Here's one: my Earworms: 2001 supposedly has 45 comments. It actually has 4.
Thanks for examples everyone, it always helps a lot.
Don't know if this is a bug, or if it's an intentional change: I hit "comments" under a post in the dashboard, and just get the option to receive notifications or not. No comment form appears. (One does if I open the post in a new tab.) This is the case only if it has no previous posts. (If it has previous posts, the form appears as usual.)

Noticed this just in the last half an hour or so.
Now that i think about it, I think this bug has popped up before, but it's been a while.
In the dashboard, if you click on the "comments' with the speech bubble, you just get notifications only. On a post that already has at least one comment, if you click on the "see all comments/add comment" link below, it will expand to the comments and open a box for you to add a comment.
