WELCOME!! Please feel free to tell us about yourselves! I would also love to know what you read and what you are reading now. (Besides the current book club book.) Also - are you in any other book clubs?
Where are you in your reading? We are getting to the half way point in the month so hopefully you are about there in your reading the book also. Any questions, comments or thoughts so far? I am here for you!

Hi, um, I'm Michelle. I first realised that I had a, "word," habit when I was very young and I haven't been able to give them up since. I mean, not that I haven't tried, but people still keep insisting that I, er, use them. You know, in conversations and the like.

I mean, I blame my parents for getting me addicted to words. They were hardcore word users as well and, heck, when you're a kid you just sort of look up to your parents. I mean, how was I to know they were starting me on a habit for life.

Well, that's how I came by here I suppose. I mean, sure, it started with Dr Zeuss and before you know it, I was on to the hard stuff. Technical manuals for mainframes that filled entire book cases. But I went further; before I knew it, I was mainlining it all the time. E-readers, paperbacks, hardbacks, I just couldn't stop.

All it took was one gentle nudge and then I turned pusher; wanting to make a little cash to fund my habit, you know. I mean, at the time I didn't see the harm in it. I mean, what's the danger in making a few sentences and offering them up on the market? Eh? All innocent stuff.

Except it didn't stop there. I started writing whole novels and now most of my free time is spent at a keyboard, hammering out these damn words. I'd give anything to go back to the old days, at least manage to read a trashy paperback now and then.

So that's why I'm here, I guess. To get a little help with my addiction...
Glad you could join us Michelle. We just finished reading a great book. What are you reading these days?
Um, at the moment I've just finished reading "The Push Chronicles", I'm currently on "The Traveller" and I've got "Three Little Birds" and "The Celestine Prophecy" lined up ... but I'm open to jamming another one in there :-D ... the only schedule I'm on is for the one I'm writing!
That is so cool! Thanks for keeping us in the loop with you.
