I don't believe it. Page 4 and already I've got issues with their attitude towards the French press bloke. Putting themselves in harms way is part of the risk you run. *sigh*
Sorry - DNR - I'm just not getting in to this book at all. Page 40 and there's just too many names and characters and stuff ...
I am sorry to hear that. I love this series and each set of characters are fun to get to know. What other stuff are you reading instead?
Well, I've got "For The Sins Of My Mother" to return to, then i've got "The history and arts of the Dominatrix" to get stuck in to. I've got to return to "Three little birds" which was marketed as a comedy but I was so depressed by the first ten pages I had to put it down and haven't picked it back up yet. I was also recommended "The Celestine Prophecy" to read, so that's in the queue also.
As I've got two books I'm putting finishing touches to as well, it will likely be another week or two before I even pick up "For the sins."
Well, you sure are busy. Sign of an avid reader to have a heavy TBR pile. Sounds good to me. Let us know how those turn out... I may add them to my pile too. Keep in touch, please.
OK - no problem. Actually, the TBR pile is roughly 30-40 books, a chunk of which are about photography, but they've been there for a while. Reading is difficult for me because, as I state on my author bio, "Most of her reading these days consists of very large I.T. technical manuals. She doesn't suffer from insomnia." ... :-D

Just wondering where everyone is and if they are done yet with the book? I think this book is my favorite... until we get to later in the series - I do not want to spoil why. Can you guys check in with me about where you are?
