Followed them all. I was just about to add another one, but Debbie already has it covered.
I'm seeing several familiar faces returning. Maybe because they paused when booklikes staff seemed absent and are back now they know booklikes is still here; maybe some real life priorities; maybe because of continuing disenchantment with other book sites...
I've been very hesitant to unfollow inactive booklikers and am glad. Well, not like they were doing something objectionable to be blocked or anything. Or that I haven't had my own periods of inactivity (and continual whining about lack of export/backup/archive protection).

Ha! I JUST went through last week and unfollowed a heap of people - but only those who were inactive for more than 12 months. I also went through and blocked a ton that hadn't been active since 13, 14, or 15. The ones I remember (and miss) I then went and unblocked, so if they ever come back I can be the first to welcome them back. :) I just had such silly numbers in the followers/following and they weren't accurate at all. Plus a few spammers I'd missed previously. :P
I'd love to see some of the originals come back. :)
I think that's a great idea. I think I will start doing so on the weekend. And I too hope that some of the "old" regulars are coming back.
I never unfollow because sometimes people do come back and because I am extraordinarily lazy about that sort of thing. I also never go through my "following" list. I probably should but again I'm too lazy.

I'm with Bark. If they aren't bothering me, I leave 'em alone, even if they're loooooooong gone.
Most of the time I do - but the numbers were stupid; I don't have 800+ followers and it embarrassed me to see that number and know it was bullish*t. I didn't remove anyone who had been active in the last 2 years and I made sure anyone I 'knew' wasn't blocked. Plus, I had a lot of spammer accounts following me and those have to go.
I don't, but I figured I was in the minority.

MbD, I'm joining your minority. ;)
I don't really care about cover reveals. Posts about artwork and cover artists can be interesting; I just don't get excited about cover reveals.
I expect to see cover reveals, release news, sales, etc. from authors I follow. If someone else posts nothing but that (and never joins the conversation in comments or groups), I'll unfollow if gets so frequent it takes over the feed (if not annoying, I'm likely not going to bother unfollowing). Lots of booklikers do blog tours or signal boost things from fave authors -- but, it's not their only postings or activities here.
Off topic for this thread: I do have a pet peeve with cover reveal posts that link to the cover-less book on booklikes. Puh-lease -- if you are posting the cover image, you can go ahead and add the bookcover to the booklikes book page. Don't have a cover reveal post with the book on booklikes showing the green placeholder. If posting endless promotions for a book -- at least make sure the book is here and edit to fill in missing information. I'm getting a tic from some of the very detailed posts with cover images,,synopsis, series #, etc. about a book missing from booklikes database or that is missing the very info the post covers.

this minority could become a majority. I skip 'em, too.
Maybe we are (were) a silent majority? :D
