back to group
BookLikes is fast becoming home. However, one of the best things about GoodReads are friend's reviews. Since we read across a wide variety of genres, I wanted to find a way to keep in touch. If we want to do monthly reads, great. Talk about other stuff, great. I didn't want call it the Goodreads' reviewers diaspora (although that's what it is) because I'm working on looking to the future, not behind, and I don't want to spend all my time thinking about That Other Site.
I'm not a reviewer, but I love the reviews you guys write. I've read so much I never would have, and really expanded my library, because of you all. Thank you, seriously thank you, for writing.
How exciting!! They finally created groups!
Who's for popcorn? I'm about to make some.
Hey!!! I'm new to this group, but I love reviewing books so much!!!
Popcorn?! How about popcorn SHRIMP and a full bar? Bombay martini up with olives, if you please Perkins, and a basket of popcorn shrimp. Stout fellow.

One didn't imagine we wouldn't have a butler, did one?
Now we're talking. Over here, Perkins! :-)
Did someone say stout? I have some Guinness in the fridge. Cheers!
Yay! Hello everybody! :D
Thanks for the invite. For those who don't know me I'm Jonathan. And yes I read just about everything :P
Hello hello! I hope I can keep up with all the fun around here. I read lots of stuff and review once in a while when I can get my thoughts ordered.

TGIF, I need a drink! :D
I'm starting to let go of my GR implosion rage and feel at home here. And there are new people to meet, too! It's good to start looking forward instead of mourning the past.
Hi Do you know if groups on BookLikes will be able to set up group reads, challenges etc? One of the things I like about Goodreads is going to a group's page and seeing what is under their 'currently reading' section. Then discussing the book(s) once read, of course!
@Sarah, I don't know if they are, but I know they have a long list of requests they are considering. I recommend joining their official group, which is much like That Other Place's Feedback group. Right now, we can certainly set up a read by giving it it's own thread--I did that in Science Fiction and Fantasy Group with Mistborn. I'm looking forward to seeing what else develops here.

I dito the letting go of the GR rage...
Hello!
I review a lot and I already love this page - and now they have discussion groups too!
Need help?
