Hi, everyone! I'm new and still trying to find my way around the site.

1. Are you a fantasy reader? Writer Both?

Both, though as you can see I haven't applied for author status here yet. I'd like to see if I can get my footing as a reader first. ^-^

2. What is your favorite sub-genre of fantasy. Epic? Dystopia? Urban? Other?

I'll read just about anything provided that I'm enjoying it and don't really pay a lot of attention to genre. At least not when I'm picking something up to read. That said, looking back at my reading you can see that I do lean towards fairytale fantasy as well as fantasy romance and away from urban fantasy, dystopia and paranormal romance. I have my preferences, but I like reading eclectically. I find it harder to read outside of fantasy, though I do try that as well.

3. Challenge: If you could have been the author of any single work of fantasy that you did NOT author, what would that work be and why?

That is a challenge! Um... I have a fair amount of books I love, but I don't think I'd have wanted to author them. They'd be different books and I wouldn't love them the same. However, assuming that I wrote the book in exactly the same way: The Lives of Christopher Chant by Diana Wynne Jones. I love her works and that's one of my favourites. It's light-hearted and fun while still having a lot of bite upon a reread.

Hello and welcome! I hope you are finding your way around without too much difficulty. Please be sure to let me know if there is anything you would like to see this group do.
Hi there, everyone. My name is Lynne and I've just joined. I've always loved both sci-fi and fantasy and I became an author last year when my debut sci-fi novel was released. It was the first in a trilogy and the other two are out now as well. It's so exciting to be able to hold a book I have written in my hands!
