I am a writer & a future published novelsit

Hope her/his novel will have gone through spell check.
Interesting comment from a petition supporter. Not everyone is concerned about "mean" reviews. I saw a lot of these type of comments on AR's FB page too. Her response is that no one is ever hurt by fake five star reviews (except customers, but who cares about them).

Athena might need to start reading her old blog posts. She seems to be losing track of her stories.

Old story: STGRB does not post about "attacked authors" without their approval. This was why she was so angry at Asshole92X because he shared info about Flood who wanted to keep her bad behavior on the DL.

New story: Without A.R. "Annette" Shaw's approval, STGRB wrote TWO posts attacking a reader on her behalf. Athena is now claiming because others told STGRB about Annette freaking out over a bad review, it was public information and they ran with it. Rob Hackney is also aligned with the site and he was the only one who supported Annette during her KDP forum meltdown.

Verdict: Athena is lying about Annette's involvement, STGRB doesn't give a crap about the author's permission now, or Athena was lying a few months earlier as a way to harm her buddy Asshole92X.

Old story: An inside man gained access to the private AAIA group and made SS that STGRB posted. As recently as Feb, STGRB posted a conversation from a private group. Sharing this information is completely acceptable.

New story: Gaining access to a private group and taking information to post publicly is illegal.

Verdict: What's good for STGRB, isn't okay for others. However legally, STGRB has fewer protections than tho people they're attacking. The site is run by multiple people (or so it claims) and actively stalks people. STGRB might even be considered a criminal enterprise with all the info they've posted over the years especially since they now claim the info is protected. I'm not sure STGRB can prove in court there was a public concern that made the information they posted fair game.

Old story: Email correspondence between Miranda and Juno needed to be posted on STGRB so the asshats could laugh and point.

New story: Email correspondence can not be shared publicly without approval of both parties or else it's illegal.

Verdict: STGRB's founder likely didn't know it could be illegal to post this information publicly. After all, Athena is in IT, not law.

Old story: A reader complains to STGRB about the site's OTT behavior. This comment is posted on STGRB and JBG asks site visitors to mock the reader. The reader's full name, email, and IP address are visible in the post.

New story: Posting private information including email, IP, and full name is illegal.

Verdict: Once again, Athena wasn't aware that her site was violating the privacy rights of others.

Old story: Negative reviews are bullying and book critics must be silenced.

New story: Negative reviews are bullying and book critics must be silenced.

Well at least one of her stories stayed the same.

FYI, with all this legal talk, we are collecting information from STGRB's long sordid history of posting what they now claims is illegal content. The fact that the info might have been removed won't matter legally. If you think you have useful info, please contact us.
Oh, and Athena has second post up. This one says GR is blocking readers' emails to avoid getting complaints. I don't know if that's true for others, but I contacted them last week and had something offensive removed.
Another post on STGRB and this one is pretty funny. Athena claims IT'S NOT ABOUT REVIEWS. Yet, she just posted again about A.R. Shaw whose complaint was ABOUT A REVIEW.

Hey, didn't Emma Paul enter the BBA scene by complaining about REVIEWS not providing "constructive criticism." Melissa Douthit (remember her?) attacked a REVIEW for a book she liked. She then blogged about that REVIEW. In the ATA group, she and Paul complained about a REVIEW by a reader who had the audacity to write a positive REVIEW for one of Emma's book, but a negative REVIEW for Melissa's. Even Anne Rice with her thousands of REVIEWS sent her fans after the negative REVIEWS.

Review, review, review...hmm...I sense a trend.

The sad thing is Athena acts like readers are wary of "bullying" when they're really just wary of authors (like those who support STGRB) always whining about REVIEWS. Wait, there's that word again.

Note: I'm not publicly adding SS because the posts are pretty dull overall. If you want to know what they say, read posts from last year and mentally change the dates. There, you've read the new stuff.
They have created their own reality and revel in it.

They still can't leave readers alone.

Different reality is right. One would think a bunch of failed writers of bad 1970´s alien porn (waves to Oops) have better things to do then doing a vendetta against readers and reviewers, like learning their craft finally, but apparently not. I mean, seriously, who made those idiots & clowns the gatekeepers of the review system, and who gave them rights to publish all kinds of lies and nonsense about someone when they dont like a review? Now it´s all they have in their lives - to attack readers and authors alike.

I still think it will be funny when Johnny Be Good has to explain in front of a judge why it was necessary and newsworthy for the public to publish the IP addresses of bloggers, and other authors, when they disagreed with their hate site.

I had to giggle at the last comment by JBG, admitting that Blue Host spanked them good and proper.

I really start to develop a serious lady crush on those who sign the petition. Shouldn´t those who want to abolish pseudo-anonymity on Amazon be accountable for their words with their legal names? What do they have to hide when they are so fond of real names? Makes me wonder...

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

FYI: I only blackened out the location. The name is like that on the "real name" petition.

The ugly green hate site will do what they always do - making stuff up. *shrug*
STGRB is very big into the idea that I'm being sued. The curious thing is JBG still claims Melissa Douthit isn't connected to STGRB at all. Though we know she's in the ATA group with Athena and her comments in the group mirror nearly word for word those posted on STGRB, so clearly she participates in the comments section of the site.

Anyway, if they ever do sue, my lawyer will be able to unveil those behind STGRB. If JBG is telling the truth, Melissa will finally be vindicated. Athena Parker and the guy posting as JBG will be screwed though.
Life writes the strangest fiction. Now this is one of the most absurd things I have seen so far on Amazon.

Please welcome, Michael Marlott and his book "Andy Warhol, The Real King of Pop".

Holly W. started a thread to tell her sob-story how a mean reviewer "abused" her blah blah but also clearly identifying "herself" as the author of said book. OK, nothing new under the sun. We have seen it all before, sort of.

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

Here Holly W. reviews her own book, the one by Michael Marlott. Holly W. however changed her name to LitGroup in the meantime - thanks to Ammy that it takes a bit before those changes catch up. *snort* The review is now posted with a sort of disclosure: *Review entered by third party on behalf of Holly Woodlawn taken verbatim from verbal statements by Ms. Woodlawn specifically for this purpose

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

Now LitGroup/Holly W./Michael Marlott created another account, a total blank profile - Literary Group - to threaten all kinds of legal action on a 1* star review.

Copy & Paste of the comment because reasons:

LITERARY GROUP says:

The author of this review, who starts out like he obtained a quote from an individual who passed away last May, 2013, has created this account to maliciously make a false review and I am taking legal action to obtain the identity of this individual by court order to amazon and take legal action against same who resides in Lansing where I do. This is a personal attack, by someone who I do not even know, nor that knows me that unfortunately this individual feels he needs to make. Our reviews are not done by us, with the exception of the review by Holly Woodlawn who does not use a computer. In that case, Holly had us tape record her statement that she gave to us and transposed it verbatim directly for the purpose of leaving such review.

As of 24 March, 2014 a petition has been filed with the court clerk for the 55th Judicial Court of Ingham County petitioning an order that Amazon disclose the true and correct identity of this individual.

Surely you mean *personal GRUNGE*?
Breaking News, sort of, kinda, almost: According to the ugly green hate site GR got sued, but they "settled out of court" and that´s the reason for their policy changes. *snort* Funny, one would think something like this would have hit the media but apparently not. No one ever heard about that in the last six months, not even the ugly green hate site said a word about it. Yeah, sure lol. Luckily someone is sharing now those "insider´s information" finally with the world.

It´s a direct reponse to former STGRB supporter Asshole92X - and his buddy Rickydick - who was calling out the ugly green hate site and Athelissa as a bluff. Seems they need to re-write history again. I am totally sure that´s what happened. /sarcasm

(hide spoiler) That was the reason why STGRB author Jaq and her multiple sock accounts was banned from goofreads for life? She is the only one who writes those trolls/goblin rape books, so you can only talk about her, right? :)(show spoiler)
Reply to post #1078 (show post):

Amused is Jaq's handle. Usually, she's more logical than this comment.

So GR settled with a group of BBA (including her?) then a few months later she was banned from the site. Also, GR settled with those authors then those same authors organized ways to damage the database. They also claimed GR ignored their complaints. Apparently, in this settlement, the only thing GR agreed to do was remove a few shelves and reviews? Hmm...the BBA were screwed.
Poor Oops. She was in charge of the "legal stuff" posted in WIN, but she didn't know "Amused" (which is the STGRB handle of Jaq D. Hawkins) had been involved in a lawsuit with GR. You'd think the ladies might have mentioned this to each other in their private groups. Instead, they left out Oops. Amused said the group purposely kept Asshole92X on the outside because he shared info. What did Oops do wrong that caused the others to keep her in the dark?
