A few comments down from the Observer rant minimizing the Santa Barbara murders, Anne Rice complains how mean people are on Amazon. I guess we can assume she supports that kind of name calling.

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

Juicy has also deleted the Elle Davis comment where she brags about posting insults on a dozen reviews. Yes, we must protect a proud BBA, but Observer's comment falls solidly within the new Snot comment guidelines. Keep digging that hole, Juicy.
This author had epic meltdown upon reading an unflattering review of his teddy bear mystery

Such a rude, narcissistic, witch.

She refuses to understand that MOA is a marketing forum for customers to meet authors. In her world if she starts a thread people should worship her not have an actual discussion.

Etc - autocorrect weirdness

Oh, this guy is perfect for Snot. I hope Juicy contacts him soon so they can hug out their butthurt.

Edit: I love this babble out of all of his babble.

Snot needs our help! See, Juicy doesn't know who posted the link on her hate site that started the whole Gavin is a thief rumor. For whatever reason, she can't track down "Who Me" using the same techniques she used to find Kevin. No, Who Me is just too slippery. So we must help!!!!

Here's where Juicy Be Good admits Who Me has them stumped.

Imagine how frustrating this must be for Juicy to have her hate site used for evil. Well, let's see if we can throw some clues her way. Here's the original comment that started the lie...

Whoa is right! After a little detective work, we found other comments by this same villainous villain.

Hey, maybe Kriss can help Juicy track down this troublemaker? Anyway, we just hope Snot gets to the bottom of this great mystery and deals with Who Me accordingly.
Between the Who Me mystery and this d'oh against Rick, Juicy is having a tough time lately.

This comment on STGRB from JBG made me wonder about the slippery slope effect.

Many people believe Melissa Douthit is behind STGRB - a site which often mocks the physical appearances of their enemies. We have a video from a few years ago that shows MD doesn’t look much like her profile picture anymore. Would it help STGRB’s victims feeling insecure about their looks, if they knew the hate site’s owner was insecure about hers too?

Several of the top STGRB supporters have personal problems. They’ve struggled with divorce, mental issues, and so forth. This information is posted publicly on blogs, Twitter, FB, etc. If I posted the specifics on a blog, would it help their victims understand why the BBA behave so aggressively? Would it give any of us solace to know the BBA are troubled people and many are in therapy? Would we feel better to know a BBA’s RL drama leads her to attack and stalk readers as a way to feel in control?

Just after Rick’s lawsuit announcement, someone using a sock sent me a message to claim they had plans to bring down STGRB. Apparently, these people have legally tracked down the personal info of several authors supportive of STGRB. Real names, addresses, phone numbers, children’s names, etc. This person claimed they were setting up a website to name and shame the authors who support the hate site. They claimed their plans were on the right side of legal, but would their behavior be moral?

This anonymous threat could be complete crap. It was a sock account and they deleted the message before I could get a SS. Even if it’s a lie, this is another sign the BBA battle has veered into an ugly direction. How much info is too much? How much shame is necessary to hurt your enemy?

Is repeating personal info from a blog okay if it “proves” the person has RL issues that make them behave in a certain way? Is posting a news video of someone okay, if it shows why she might be insecure about her looks and attack others? Is it okay to reveal where people live, eat, work, etc?

Once one side crosses a line (as STGRB did years ago and continues to do today), the other feels they can cross it too. When does the slippery slope go too far?
Jenny Trout Admits Jealousy, according to the ugly green hate site anyway. Does anyone remember their new "be nice" policy? Guess not.

As it happens an unknown site visitor (Thank you Paula!) send us a link and a pic today of Melissa Douthit. While I disagree with Emma or Robynn mocking Melissa as "Beetlejuice" I think it´s especially interesting for dog lovers.

It doesn't really matter if there are punctuation and spelling errors because readers only want a good story?

I disagree.
A couple interesting comments on Snot...

Paula Shene (moderator of WIN) shared her view on why people troll her. See, we're all jealous that we can't be hugely successful like her with that dog book. Makes sense. I know my dog book is a flop next to hers.

(hide spoiler) (show spoiler)

Gavin Hetherington is apparently closely following Snot and reaching out to those the hate site supports (much like we've been told WIN mods do for new "bullied" authors). It's good to know Juicy Be Good has a new friend.

This final comment makes a very good point. We've often looked at the excellent sales of the top WIN gals (who are totally trolled out of jealousy) and thought they're selling so well because they lack proper grammar and spelling. After all, who doesn't dream of being in the league of Melissa Douthit (WIN mod)? Heck, maybe one day romance author and WIN mod Robynn Gabel can give us lowly nobodies advice on how to sell as well as she does. I bet the secret is thinking typos are sexy. ;)

This is Juicy's response to showing compassion and restraint regarding trashing someone's personal life.

While I don't condone the threat by Anon to post personal info (both found online and through the use of a PI) about STGRB supporters, there's no denying the people behind the hate site have brought it upon themselves by crossing the line again and again.

If this the new site ever happens and we learn of it, we won't post a link. Partly to avoid publicizing the divorce records (public info) and other personal details this Anon group plans to use. We also don't want to help Juicy and her friends get the info removed. They've gone out of their ways to find a host that allows just about anything to be posted. If it's okay for Snot, it's difficult to blame others for following their lead. Again, this is a fight Juicy and her friends started and they'll be the ones to end it one day with the many enemies they've made.

Here are a few of the names on the list the sock sent.
MT Dismuke
Mysti Parker
Emma Paul
Robynn Gabel
Melissa Douthit (duh)
A few readers I won't name.
And a few authors with names I don't recognize and can't be sure about.

This personal crap is so easy to play, so I'm not surprised someone is attacking STGRB with it. One particular Snot supporter posted a blog about abuse she claims to have suffered in a former relationship. She's also spoke publicly about her daughter, PTSD, and other personal issues. By JBG's logic, this information is pertinent to the BBA's victims because it helps us understand the asshat's aggression. Besides, the BBA chose to post things publicly, so she can't complain about it now.

We'll see where this escalation goes over the next few months and years. Too bad Juicy couldn't keep the blog retired, but I sense she loves this drama and isn't worried about her personal info splashed across the Internet. Some people just don't care.
