Please share a published book that you loved, but no one else seems to have heard of it or if they did they weren't impressed. Why do you like it so much, and why didn't it go anywhere?
My first candidate is "All Wrapped Up."
Why I liked it: Tentacle romance! Consenticles! Plus all four of the stories are well written, and I really liked three of them. It has a nice variety - two science fiction and two fantasy stories.
Why it is so obscure: I suppose even in our genre it is a little bit embarrassing to be reading about tentacles? I note the authors aren't too well known. And maybe books of short stories don't do well? Beats me.

I have no book to add (yet!), but I have to say that anthology was awesome!! The stories were all well written and...tentacles! ;)

Yeah - dito on the tentacles! And I found "All wrapped up" to be of astounding quality! I could add "A boy for the tentacle monster", but then this thread would move into another direction.
What I would like to check out just because of the title is "Butt pirates in space" - really. Just too cool.
Details of the Hunt by Laura Baumbach. Tentacle penis! I hate the main character but the sex scenes are just so, omg, eyes, eyes, eyes, I cannot take my eyes off it. I keep re-reading those scenes.
I liked Odessa Lynne's 'Of Magic and Mating' series. Alien and human sex with magic thrown in, but the whole series just really works for me.
Hmm. Tentacles certainly seem popular in this particular group! Weird coincidence, or does everyone like them but won't admit it until someone else does? :-)
I wish we could put book links in comments. Pointless, I added Of Mating and Magic to my "maybe" list. How dystopic is it? I shy away when it's too grim.
Birds of a feather flock together. It's fate. :D

I take it everyone has read "Gay Tentacles From Space!" Lovely lovely short. ;) With tentacles. Many. ;)

I really liked "Sevener" by Thea Hayworth. I could find only one other person on Goodreads who had read it. I advertised it to all my friends XD It's short but wonderful. No tentacles though :P

I heard good things about that, but couldn't find it on Amazon DE...want to check it out, even if it doesn't have tentacles...
And, no, I haven't read "Gay tentacles from Space", but moved it directly on the TBRI (To Be Read Immediately) pile...

I'm thinking this thread is starting to be more about tentacles than unknown books.
@Tami: Were you referring to Sevener?
