I'm in the middle of a romantic suspense - Run the Risk by Lori Foster. The first third was horribly draggy but at 43% the action suddenly kicked up and now it's pretty good. Not the best. The suspense plot is too obvious. I like the hero and heroine, though and now that things are moving I'll probably finish it pretty quickly.

I'm reading Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. I just finished Darkfever (book 1) and am starting Bloodfever (book 2). So far I'm not loving it, but I've heard it gets better.

It does get better, especially as we see Mac grow as a charcter. I loved the fever series, but I read it back when before I knew anything about it, so my expectations weren't too high. I hope u get more into them.

I'm reading At Last by Jill Shalvis. Shalvis is one of my favorite contemporary authors, but this one isn't very engaging so far, but I'm not too far along, so hopefully it gets better.

I didn't like At Last as much as I was expecting to but I did like it. It focused too much on the heroine' s journey and not enough on the romance or the hero. I think that may be why I've taken my time about starting the next one.

I've heard it isn't one of her better books. I think that's why it took me so long to start it. I read some reviews that made me excited to read Forever and A Day though, so I'm trying to get caught up.

I have just finished reading Next Song I Sing by Donna McDonald - she is one of my favorite authors.

I am now reading the Mighty Storm by Samantha Towle - The Storm Series, and so far so good :) This is the first book of hers that I have read.

I just finished Panic from JA Huss (it's the last book from the Rook & Ronin series) & I absolutely loved it. Now, I'm starting Sweet Home by Tillie Cole.

Drea, for Bold Tricks, it seems that either people loved it or hated it. Personally, I love the series as a whole, but Bold Tricks was probably my least favorite of the bunch.

I just started Flesh by Kylie Scott. Between the Walking Dead and Halloween coming up, I was looking for something with zombies.

I just moved on to Bare it All which is the 2nd book in this Lori Foster series (with no series name) that I'm reading. It's off to a better start than the first but it's also doing a sort of fake love triangle and I don't really care for those.
