I thought this one was pretty comical because I knew pretty much that it would end badly. Drinking + fireworks = disaster but then when you add in some competition between some folks who are from different sides of the fence and you have a bigger DISASTER. This was a fast story and the accents wer...
A silly story about competitive neighbors. Mildly entertaining, but not one of his best. Audiobook, borrowed from my public library. Tim Sample provides an enthusiastic performance. He’s definitely all-in.
This is a short little tale about how people try to top each other and how things can build until they’re out of control. I’m a little surprised that it actually pretty much worked out.
I haven't listened to an audio book in many years but when a new Stephen King book is released on audio only, how could I resist? Apparently, it's going to be included in an upcoming book of short stories but I wasn't waiting! It's a short listen, only an hour and 20 minutes. It's basically about ...

"Drunken Fireworks" will be available in print in November when The Bazaar of Bad Dreams releases. Until then, we have this audiobook version narrated by Tim Sample. Oh, did I mention this came out today. Because it did. HAPPY STEPHEN KING RELEASE DAY!I'm not sure this story will be as good in writi...
A friendly competition between neighbors gets a little out of hand. A good short from the King.
I don’t understand the disdain this novella gets from other SK fans. In discussions of the “past midnight” collection, The Sun Dog is usually listed as the weakest, with all the love going to The Langoliers. How buzzing, hopping little balls of teeth that eat reality can trump the idea of an alterna...
