I read this book ages ago, when I happened to find it at my parents' house when I was home from College. I still remember becoming so lost in the story that I lost all tack and time (I know, the irony of it all) and only realized by the last page that it was now the wee hours of the morning. I st...

A novel really unique, published in 1970 with a sequel in 1995 (the last novel published by Finney before dying, "From Time to Time"). Written in a style seemingly simple, smooth and pleasantly vivid as fresh spring water, this novel captures the reader from the first line with the scenes of an ever...

Time and Again (The Classic Illustrated Novel) - Jack Finney It had all of the elements that should have made it awesome (history, time travel, hypnotism), but instead I found it dull and flat. Very disappointing, but since it was for book club I powered through and finished it anyway.

Really enjoyed this gem, and surprised I hadn't heard of it before. Ending was a bit quicker than I would have liked, but I understand there is a sequel.

Basically, a really fun read- as we all know, if you don’t have the ability to time travel, a book is ...

I'm really conflicted about this book. I read it years ago and loved it. I've spent the past few years trying to remember the title so that I could reread it. I was excited when I finally remembered and got a copy. This time I was much more aware of the flaws. As Mary Jo pointed out, time travel ...
