Tina Salaks was a Special Agent with the ASPCA for 7 1/2 years. She worked in the Humane Law Enforcement unit investigating animal cruelty complaints. She was also a series regular on the Animal Planet series "Animal Precinct". Prior to joining the ASPCA she worked as Mounted Officer in the NYC Parks Department for 4 1/2 years. This is the first book she has written, and a portion of all sales will be donated to American Humane.
