After finding herself at the centre of a very public scandal that left one man dead and another on the run, Lady Alexandra Huntington has exiled herself to her brother's estate and is content to manage his affairs. It took me awhile to get into this historical romance but midway my interest picked up through the exciting finish yet characters had consistency issues and I wonder about the HEA. Collin is investigating his brother death that resulted from a public scandal caused by Lady Alexandra.
Not my favorite Dahl, but not a bad read either.
