Ley Line Drifter by Kim Harrison - A pixy tries to solve a mystery and gets more than he bargained for. ★★ I liked how cute it was but there was a lot of repetition.Reckoning by Jeaniene Frost - Bones is asked to hunt a ghoul couple in New Orleans by its Voodoo Queen. Of course, things aren't as the...
Really enjoyed most of them, but didn't love the Pettersson SS, which brought it down some overall.Ley Line Drifter by Kim Harrison: (The Hollows SS - 7.5) ★★★★I really liked this SS, since it gives a pixie eye view of the world. I'd never really thought about pixie culture before reading this one. ...
Only read two stories. The pre-Cat Bones story by Jeanniene Frost was okay. "Two Lines" by Melissa Marr was very interesting, but the ending was abrupt and the story felt unfinished. Perhaps it's intended as a prequel to something.
Ley Line Drifter by Kim HarrisonThis is the first story I've ever read featuring pixies as the main characters. It was just too cute but danger lurked in the garden. For now I'm only interested in Jeaniene Frost's anthology. The anthology is a prequel to the Night Huntress series, in Bone's POV.Although it is a really short story and it didn't add anything new I did take the time to read it.
A 3.5 for me. I enjoyed Kim Harrison's and Jeaniene Frost's stories the most, trouble with Vicki Pettersson's and Melissa Marr's, Jocelynn Drake's was okay.
