Yes this was definitely a "Transition Story" within the series. I didn't care too much for the pairing with Layla and William. They had very few intense or even sweet moments. I really enjoyed reading this book. I look forward to reading the first two so it fills in some blanks but overall isn't necessary to understand whats going on. Sara really connects you to her characters really well and makes you feel for them.
