I super liked this story, and I was not expecting to like it very much at all. I thought it would be corny, but the characters are relatable and likable. The plot is full and entertaining. I will definitely be continuing.4—4.5

I finally read this. Yay me. :) I actually liked the Bloodlines series waaay more. Bloodlines has a more likable heroine than Vampire Academy. Don't get me wrong; I liked Rose, she was tough and a smartass. But I also like my heroines to have some brains (like Sydney) and not constantly pick fights....

It has taken me I couldn't tell you how many years but finally I've started Vampire Academy. All in all a good read, I like it when an author really puts there own stamp on vampires such as Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods Vampires and P.C & Kristin Cast's House of Night series. This book wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, and I'm pretty sure that's a good thing. Surprisingly, I really liked this book. The characters, especially Rose, sometimes drove me up a wall because of the decisions they made, but I still managed to liked the characters well enough. For me, thi...

Holy high school drama! This book is mostly a bunch of teen drama mixed with a tiny smidge of fighting. I really hope this series picks up BC I thought I'd finish it before the movie came out. The way this is going, I might not make it to the end of the series and DEFINITELY will be skipping the mov...

St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t just any boarding school—it’s a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re...

I really liked this one - I haven't looked forward to reading a book this much in a while. It was interesting, it was fun, and it had the exact right pace to keep me interested without making me feel as if the author was just going "And then something happened! And then this other thing happened! An...
