What do I love about writing romance? The same things I love in my reading: that intense undeniable attraction between the main characters. The emotional moments that can come hard and fast, or so soft and sweet, they creep into the heart while cutting to the bone. I need characters that feel real, strong friendships depicted, and great antagonists. Give me some crazy hot erotic intimacy between the hero and heroine and flashes of humor to balance things out. And of course, I want a good story with a satisfying ending. No matter what the subgenre, those are some of the things I aim for in my writing and I hope you find in my books.Vanessa Jaye lives in Toronto, Canada with her handsome son and a well-endowed mortgage.
