I LOVED this book!!! It had a strong storyline, the characters were interesting, and the small twists and turns of the story made it a great read. I didn't want to put it down.

As always, it is hardest to review the books one likes, and since it has been a while since I read this, I will do this the short way. Things I liked about Vanishing Acts: all five POVs – the combination worked perfectly together and made an amazing story; the insight into prison system/life, how...

All in all, Vanishing Acts was an absolutely heartfelt story not only about the kidnapping as its main focus, but also many other present everyday issues everyone could or might be facing already.Read full review on my blog, Beyond Strange New Words.

i am just not a fan of Jodi Picoult's writing style. Hearing the same story from 3 points of view in 3 separate chapters over and over again was exhausting.

Vanishing Acts took me longer to get into than Picoult's books typically do. I enjoyed it, but it was not my favorite. Definitely worth the read.

I'd read this book years ago and lost my copy, so was really looking forward to re-reading it, and it confirms that this is one of my favourite books by this author. The story follows Delia, who discovers her life has been a lie after being kidnapped by her own father. As we followe her story, more ...

This was a really good story! I couldn't wait to find out what happened and discover more about the characters back story and secrets. The characters were really well developed and as with other Jodi Picoult books, I liked how it was told from multiple characters view points. One thing that threw me...

I enjoyed Vanishing Acts more than My Sister's Keeper, but after reading these two books, I don't need to read any more Picoult.

Another excellent book by Jodi Picoult. Her books always have a way of making you wonder what you would do in the same situation, and her characters are so real that you do genuinely like them and feel for their situation. And of course, this is no exception. It only got 4 stars because it wasn't a...
