Full disclosure: I read about a hundred pages and skimmed the rest to see if anything actually happens in this book. It does, around the 250 page mark (of a 294-page book), but it's not the kind of payoff worth slogging through 250 pages of Dani Hale being a shallow, psychotic, obsessive, stalkerish...
The body of this book was not at all what I expected--but it was a good read. The story is about a successful woman who exhibits stalker like tendencies and obsesses over men and some women. The last 1/4 of the book was not at all what I expected--it threw me for a loop.
