Mostly enjoyed this story. I appreciated the character development and their background stories, particularly Robert's relationship with his Dad. Horribly bad grade school stereotypes abound! I liked the overall plot, but the characters were just so nasty and mean. Homophobic (look at Nic) and sexist (look at Maya and Jennifer). I'm still really surprised at all the hate that was packed into this book.
And this one goes straight onto my "Yeah but no but yeah conflicted" shelf. It's a 3.5, but rounded up because I can't stop thinking about it. The writing is really good. Really good.
