Opening Line: Put this book down. Right now." Many of my friends were curious about this book and asked me if Leary comes across like an a-hole in it. Not a terrible book, but most of Leary's comedic ability comes from his presence.

I have never, ever been a fan of Denis Leary. Ever. But I saw him talking about this book on the Daily Show and decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it wasn't bad.I didn't really learn anything and wouldn't read it again, but still, not a bad book.

No one is safe from his observations and direct approach. What I like about him, like other comedians I like (Lewis Black, George Carl...

Most people will find this book offensive, but I don't think anyone would say they found the whole thing unfunny. I really wish that I could have listened to this book being read by Leary himself, as his delivery is just as important as the words. Parts of it became repetitive, but overall it is qui...
