We know very little about the mystical figure that is William Watkins. As his publisher, we endeavour to give you, the reader everything we can, but there isn't much to go on. From what we can piece together, he did once go to university, which one we're not sure; Mr Watkins has done his best to wipe any record of himself. He often talks of meeting his old friend, someone he would reminisce with, share his stories with, but we are not sure if he exists. We get the impression Mr Watkins would not leave a potential link to himself in the open like this. But this is pure conjecture. Mr Watkins is a very private man.Mr Watkins refuses to have face to face contact, although we have had conference calls. He sounds like a refined character. One photograph of Mr Watkins is known to exist, which is used in all his published works. It appears to have been taken at a time in his earlier life, before he decided to evict himself from society to protect himself from the forces he claims would 'do him harm'. Some in the office sometimes think he sees himself as a destructive force in society, so he is better off staying adrift, commenting on afar. Again, this is all conjecture; Mr Watkins is a very private man.Mr Watkins nonetheless continues to want to contribute to society via his writings. He is meticulous with his research, which makes us believe he's meticulous with all aspects of his life too. He has spent much of his life researching facts about the world; all of them fun, many of which we have been told are fake, but nonetheless, they are all facts. These have been published in three volumes and are collectively called 'The Fake Fun Fact Series'.He spent years researching everything that is wrong in this world and the origins of many of our sayings and beliefs. They are published in two separate volumes, both available in electronic and print format, 'The Pocketbook Guide on Screwing Your Country, Your Society and Your Life' and 'The Things You Thought You Knew, You Don't Know and You Ought to Know: a Myth Busting Punch Book'.As editor of 'The Morning Moan', Mr Watkins has been able to bring the truth to the masses. His papers are not easily accessible, the powers that be don't want you to know; we publish the editions if and when we obtain them, all currently available through amazon, for now.His breakthrough short story hit 'The Chance Encounter' left the world puzzled and in awe of this mysterious man. The world yearned for more, of which we hope Mr Watkins continues to send us. 'The Asylum', he most recent high flying superhit is just another one of potentially dozens of well researched and humorously written books in the pipeline of this one man enigma. The five short stories currently published are collectively known as 'The Watkins Files'.Mr Watkins continues to send us material and we continue to share his knowledge and wisdom to the world. He told us that he would continue until his dying breath or when his enemies that would do him and us harm catch up with him; whichever comes first. As his publishers we hope neither happens for a very long time. We will not answer any inquiries to his whereabouts, so if you are a local law enforcement provider, you must find Mr Watkins yourself.
