1.5 starsI'm probably one of the few people that enjoy the Downside Ghosts series but doesn't particularly care one way or another for Terrible. I enjoy that he makes Chess happy but beyond that I'm rather neutral on the guy. But what I am not neutral on? The headache-inducing Downside way of speaki...
Good addition to this amazing series!! This is Downside through the eyes of Terrible. It's set between the 2nd and 3rd books. If you've read the series, then you know what is happening in the world of Chess & Terrible. As usual, it was beautiful to see Chess through Terrible's eyes and get a gli...
This is such a great view into Terrible's psyche. This and all my other reviews are originally posted on my blog (un)Conventional BookviewsWrong Ways Down is a novella in the Downside Ghosts series, and it's all in Terrible's point of view, third person present tense. It is really great to get some m...
I gave this novella four stars, because it's from the POV of Terrible, and I really like his character. Kane managed to take the bruiser from her Downside Ghosts series and make him interesting, complex, and human. And a bit of a feminist (go you, Kane). But, I don't think I would rate any further Te...
It was interesting to read from the hero's point of view. Sometimes that ruins it for me, but I enjoyed this one. When I read the others in the series, I glommed, so it's hard to remember what specifically happened in which book. Now I want to go back and re-read them.
Awesome read from Terrible's POV. Interesting to be in his head and how he reasons things out. Also discovering the way he adores Chess and always keeps an eye out for her. What Chess lacks in self esteem, Terrible makes up and more since she is his world early on in the series. And what a viole...
It was really odd to read a book in Terrible's POV. Nice, but odd. I think I would have rather read this novella shortly after reading Unholy Ghosts, since it's right after that book timeline wise, but it would have been odd to read Chess's POV of that time knowing that Terrible loves her and doesn'...
Ahhh how I've missed the Downside Ghosts series. Wonderfully done, and of course starring my favorite romance hero of all time. When I can get my head back on straight, I'll do a full review, but for now, I loved getting Terrible's point of view.A very solid 4.5/5 Stars
4.4 starsThe inside of Terrible's mind is a sad and lonely place. His past broke my heart, but it also made him the outstanding character he is. The thoughts behind his work, his interactions with Bump, Amy, Chess and other street folks from his perspective was enlightening. His lack of self-esteem ...
