K.Z. Snow gave us an interesting short story about two abused characters coming together helping each help with the healing, accepting and loving. Snow’s writing seemed the most confident & almost haunting when her characters were in pain and in dark moments. Both Jonah and Dare were interesting o...

3.5 starsKZ Snow is an automatic-buy author for me, she’s up there on the ‘most books read’ shelf with some great storytelling. I approached this book with some trepidation, though, because of the subject. The topic of sexual abuse is a dark path to go down and it takes a certain mind-set for me to ...

K.Z. Snow is an auto-buy for me so when I saw this title I put it on my "must-have-grabby-hands" shelf without further delay. And, lucky me, earlier this year, I won a copy in a giveaway. What an incredibly difficult subject to deal with and yet Ms Snow has done an amazing job. The MC's are real and vulnerable with an underlying strength that I like to believe is inherently needed to survive their individual ordeals. Very well done and very worth reading.

I liked this book. It wasn't the best book in the world, and maybe it was just me but I couldn't get into the book as well as others I've read. 3.5 stars because I liked the read. I can't really give anymore.

It fits perfectly.Xylophone is a beautifully written book and I highly recommend it for...

I've been avoiding this book for awhile due to the mention of child abuse in the plotline, but I'm glad the need for a "X" in a current reading challenge made me get to it. The first thing to say about this book, and K.Z. Snow, is that the writing is just on another level than what is normally enco...
