Apologies on all of the Dean Koontz reviews today. I am just reading books as I find them in my messy under construction house. This book was a giant waste of time. It made no sense. Seriously, none. I'm just . . . confused.

Not Mr. Koontz's best.

I'm really disappointed with this one. Characters are barely delineated, dialogues are only 'enough' and the ending is not satisfying at all. I'm going to give another chance to Koontz and read one day another his book but it's not going to happen soon.

I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this book so much. I used to love Koontz but he kinda lost it there for awhile, at least in my opinion. Not sure if I would have enjoyed it as much if I read the book as opposed to listening to it. For me, some books are just better heard then read.

The story of a heart transplant recipient who is "haunted" by his donor. An okay read, but not one of Mr. Koontz's best. Am I the only one who feels he is slipping a little bit lately?
