Hot sexy short. This was my intro to the world of Southern Arcana. Really good. The backstory was strong, but didn't overwhelm the short story. The characters were lovely and tangled together with past heartbreak. High stakes gave the story lots of tension.
Zola's Pride is a lovely, interesting free read from Moira Rogers on their website. I was really interested after reading Cipher how Zola and Walker learnt to work together and how they got together and Zola's Pride answers all these lovely questions.
