In less than a year, the zycho virus crushes human civilization mercilessly. Survivors like Kyle Grady never expected it to get this bad, but the day soon came when he had no choice but to set out with his daughter to find somewhere safe.
His hope is a survivalist vault in Washington mentioned to him by his brother before the lines of communication went down. But that is a thousand miles away across an American landscape devastated by disease, murder, mayhem, and the approaching winter.

Just escaping Colorado has nearly cost him his life on many occasions, but Kyle has gained friends along for the way. Normal people, just like him, all hoping to find a safe haven. All counting on Kyle to get them there.

But zychos, raiders, and a mysterious vandal capable of burning down entire towns stands in his way.
