Really fun superman reading that is quite conventional. There's no real moral drama in the first volume besides how clark deals with the death of his father. What is interesting to me is that they've set up a series in which superman inevitably (or so it appears) dies and he is aware of this fact....
I liked it OK. For all I know, it's amazing, but at the end of the day it's still just Superman we're talking about, who it's awfully hard to get excited about.
