The notes I had for this said I liked the cover with the slippers better (I can find no cover with slippers) and also that this is a picture book. Now maybe I just clicked on the wrong book(s), or maybe, I was drunk with love. You decide.Library copy

I love Jennifer Crusie; she writes two of my favorite books: Fast Women and Agnes and the Hitman and I thought I had just about all her books, but I found this one at the bottom of a box at the FOTL sale Saturday. For Nina Askew, turing forty means freedom—from the ex-husband whose career always c...

I needed a mindless but charming read and this fit the bill. A little too category for me - a huge misunderstanding is the crux of the problem - but still a fun book.

I love Crusie's books! This one has to be the funniest one I've read by her so far. I loved Fred, although it was so funny that she went to the pound wanting a puppy and ended up getting poor Fred. I would have done the same in her place, I think.

*December 19 - December 22* Love this book! The characters are so easy to connect with. Even Fred (the dog) steals your heart as soon as we are introduced to him. Though the narrator was good the recording I have has a strange air type echo in it which can be distracting when you first start to list...

If you are ever sad, or blue, or just want to laugh until you afraid you are going to have to change your jeans, this is in all ways the author for you! Ms. Cruise is an absolute riot, while still writing solidly. You Have to try these books! I am adding all of them to my "must buy" list. Lots of la...
