I think a lot of us are still learning how to navigate this site. I don't have a Tumblr so a lot of this layout is still new to me. :(

Fair enough. In the post text box its exactly the same layout as a wordpress blogbar there is an icon that looks like two pages with a dotted line between the bottom edge of one and the top of another. hit that after say, the third paragraph and it'll give the read more option on posts and keep the dash posts short and sweet.
Much like blogger, then? I like it. Thanks!

Never used blogger so I wouldn't know lol. It's right next to the HTML button lol. But I'll be using it on my reviews/longer opinion pieces, otherwise it'll be a wall of text on peoples dash.

Spooky. I was just looking for this, because I thought that my reviews (which tend to be on the long side) might be clogging up people's dashboards. :) Will try to fix this now. Thanks!

Hahahahaha it's something I looked into before anything that was long was posted by me, as in not automatically, it just seems courteous to keep it short and sweet for people on their dash

You are absolutely right. I have to admit, though, that I still have no idea what I'm doing here. I fiddled with backgounds and pictures for a couple of hours only to realise that I can't even change a font colour. Posting comments obviously isn't my forte either. And when I decide to fix the layout of my reviews, I bury people under an avalanche of text. :) So, thanks for pointing the page break thingy out to me.

Thank you - I have been trying to figure out how to do this, and yet it has been staring me in the face the whole time lol
