Now is the tortilla corn or flour? Either way that is too dark...they got burned = no bueno.
Nostalgia Reader 7 years ago
Ditto. That's most definitely "almond" not tortilla.

Don't mess with my tortillas!

Looks kind of weirdly fleshy to me...
Sapphire and amethyst look watered down to me, and tan not that sunned, but this is a very interesting list.
Derrolyn Anderson 7 years ago
Sapphire is completely wrong. Way too pale & greenish.

On my monitor, cloud looks more silver than silver.
Derrolyn Anderson 7 years ago
Silver looks lavender to me.

Silver and flint are too blue. Sapphire? Uh no. There's no burgundy. Ruby is too dull, amethyst too pale. Hickory is a much lighter wood. Somebody mixed ashes with the flour for those tortillas.

Great words, but some of 'em just don't match.

I agree that amethyst is too pale. Plus, monitors aren't perfect for color representation anyway.

Periwinkle is also more in the blue family than the purple family.

They are great words, though.

Yep, syrup is too dark, rose and candy look the same, pistachio is too grey, and there are two different red wines ( Chardonnay would be a good color, as well as a fabulous stripper name! ).
What is that anchor made out of anyway?

ARGH!

PARMESAN P-A-R-M-E-S-A-N!

(It can be very painful to be a spelling dragon. . . . :-( )

Copied from Pinterest, so I take no credit for the spelling. However, I will take the blame for posting it, LOL ;)

LOL. I do like the words, though, and the colors, even if they don't match the way *I* think they should. To each her own. And it's fun to play with.

I love color, but I can't paint or draw, so I guess that's why I play with quilts and stones.

And by the way, the lapis is smack on perfect. Now if there were just a way to add some pyrite sparkles. . . . . ;-)

What, no white? And what about orange?
Literary Ames 7 years ago
IMO, white is not a colour, it's the absence of colour.
Unless it's additive, then it's all
Literary Ames 7 years ago
That's true. We wouldn't have pastel colours without white.
Makes me want to decorate.
