Doug Lee is undead quite by accident—attacked by a desperate vampire, he finds himself cursed with being fat and fifteen forever. When he has no luck finding some goth chick with a vampire fetish, he resorts to sucking the blood of cows under cover of the night. But it's just not the same. Then he m...

I liked this books a lot. I stumbled across this book and started it just to see what it was all about, and ended up really liking it. I took a little break in the middle and came back liking it a bit less but overall the book was good. I liked that he was tragically fat, and unattractive, and doome...

This book would've been a solid four, but the ending sucked.

This book is indeed different. Vampire who is physically unfit. But I didn't really get the humor. I think it was ok to read, just not that good.

Doug didn't pan out the way I was hoping. Then there was the ending. It just ended up uninspiring. I don't think Doug trul...

Kind of disappointing—based on an author interview I read awhile ago on Editorial Anonymous, I was expecting this book to stick more closely to the idea Rex brings up here: "ADAM REX: That's the gist of what got me started. A big part of the fantasy of vampirism, of course, is the wish-fulfillment...

This was one of those books that started out funny and full of potential, but somewhere along the way the author strayed off that path. I wanted to read this for myself since the reviews were all over the place, but I'm sorry to say that this just wasn't great. As others have said, at the halfway po...
