Gerry has earned honorable mentions from Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and Writer's Digest. Five of the short stories in his collection, "Creatures," were recognized in the 77th and 78th Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competitions. He is a member of the Horror Writers Association.More of his short stories and poems can be found in Frightmares: A Fistful of Flash Fiction Horror published by Dark Moon Books along with numerous issues of Dark Moon Digest and e-magazine Dark Eclipse, The Best of Dark Moon Digest in 2012, and The Best of Dark Eclipse in 2013 and 2014.
