A cop moonlighting as a bartender, is bludgeoned to death with a metal bat in an upscale club. Lieutenant Eve Dallas isn't pleased; not with the fact she has no motive, no suspect, and not with the idea that the owner of the club is her own husband. Then another cop, who also proves to also have a s...

Another fanstastic book in the series, this one really had me i didnt know who to trust (except for Eve, Roarke and Peabody of course). I think this was especially hard because it was cops dying, when made it harder for Eve, still loved every moment. I can't wait for the next one.

Someone is killing cops and leaving 30 pieces of silver behind. It is up to Eve to find the murderer and why the cops are being targeted. I enjoyed this one. There were several suspects and Eve had to weed through them. Eve is trying to protect Roarke and it causes a rift between them for a while. I...

Police men are dying; does it have anything to do with them being dirty? Throw in one of Roarke's old business associates and chaos ensues

This is another one of these that I didn't really remember. Ricker I kind of remembered, but I couldn't remember who was killing cops or why. Even when Eve figured it out, I still didn't remember. Having cops killed always hits the other cops hard. It's even worse in this one, since it's cops be...

These books never fail to please. This time around we have an undercover cop who ends up dead in a club owned by Roarke. Yes, we have a cop killer on the loose and before the book is done the body count rises. This is especially tricky for Eve and Roarke, as it appears things are linked to an ex-bu...

A cop is death and as always justice has to be made, but the worst part was the place, of course Roarke installments. Eve was first one scene and discovered more than just a robbery, but also started to investigate more than just a death person.Turns out to be more than just one cop when a series of...

That's me every time I finish a book in this seriesThis is the first installment in the In death series that I review, and it’s hard! I loved everything, even the fighting, and I don’t have anything to say that the other people who wrote reviews didn’t say before me. It was a pleasure to listen to i...

Thirty pieces of silver, but what is the price of a soul? And we're back for book 11 in the In Death series with a gruesome killing spree that puts a taint on everything Eve Dallas stands for. As usual—and this is something that I find quite comical at this point—there's a connection to Eve's billion...

Thirty pieces of silver. ★★★★★ & a W.O.W! (This is a review of the audiobook.) I feel like a parrot, because I keep saying this, but this series just keeps getting better and better. This is certainly due, in large part, to Susan Ericksen’s excellent narration. She knows these characters so wel...
