I love the fact that Kiss of a Demon King and Dark Desires after Dusk run parallel with one another. Cole has done this before with No Rest for the Wicked and Wicked Deeds on a Winter’s Night, but because we read Cade’s story first and got teasing glimpses of a distraught and angry Rydstrom, I was c...

It was fascinating that the heroin was an evil sorceress and that she kept challenging the moral standards of the demon king. The part where she was kept in the refugee camp was superb.

This is a great story of two wickedly mismatched characters whose physical chemistry practically leapt off the page for me. Their dialog is both funny and smart, too. And though I was like the other reviewers and didn't like Sabine, but then she slowly grew on me with her snarky gumption. And espe...
