Neighbors (BookShots): A gripping serial killer thriller with a brilliant twist (The Midnight Book Club 4) by Jeremy Bates
Neighbors - Jeremy Bates

Neighbors (BookShots): A gripping serial killer thriller with a brilliant twist (The Midnight Book Club 4) by Jeremy Bates is an intriguing short story.

I received a complimentary copy from Amazon. That did not change my opinion for this review. I gave it four stars.

"For twenty-five-year-old Buddy Smith, who values his privacy, it's the only place he would call home. Yet his simple life is flipped upside down when a new neighbor moves in next door. She's young, beautiful, a bit nosy...and might just be a cold-blooded killer. Against his better judgment, Buddy spends the night with her—a decision that will prove to be the biggest mistake of his life."

I read this almost in one go. Kept me wanting to know what was next
The Good Neighbors - Kiersten Modglin
I loved this story. I thought I knew where we were headed, but it never quite got there. I had some suspicions, but again, the reasons were not quite what I expected. Harper and Bryant loved each other, but their lives changed when they met their neighbors, Tori and Jason. Things got a bit creepy at times, but I could not stop reading this book. I highly recommend this story.

I received a copy of this story through Yours Truly Book Services, and this is my unsolicited review.

The Neighbors
The Neighbors - Hannah Mary McKinnon The Neighbors - Hannah Mary McKinnon I really liked this one, entertaining , twisty and emotionally charged domestic suspense novel that was quite the page turner. This is the exact sort of novel where upon finishing I go “ Darn! I really wish had kept this one for my holidays

We are all intrigued when a new family moves into the neighborhood and next door neighbors is even more intriguing until you realize these neighbors have have a connection with your past and a past you might want to keep hidden.

The Neighbors started out really strong and held my attention all the way to the end. This is my kind of fun summer read when I am relaxing outside and want a little distraction from the norm.

Enjoyed the character development and plot for this Novel as I felt I got to know most of the characters. I loved the dislikable characters if that makes sense. Also enjoyed how each character had their own narrative in the story as this made the story flow. A fast paced novel which I listed to on Audible and I really enjoyed the experience as I think the narration was really good.

I think readers who enjoyed books like [b:The Wife|34971475|The Wife|Alafair Burke|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1499099806s/34971475.jpg|56247075][bc:The Wife|34971475|The Wife|Alafair Burke|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1499099806s/34971475.jpg|56247075] might enjoy this one also.

Paddletail the Beaver and His Neighbors
Paddletail the Beaver & His Neighbors: Old Homestead Tales Volume 3 - Neil Wayne Northey

Paddletail the Beaver and His Neighbors is the third of four volumes of Neil Wayne Northey’s Old Homestead series.  Like the first two volumes this is a quick and pleasant children’s book that follows the lives of numerous animals inhabit the area around the Wildwood Pond in the Black Forest though the titular Paddletails.  Although the third book in the series, it doesn’t have to be read in order while still providing enjoyment to young children either reading on their own or being read to by their parents.

The Mallards and Their Neighbors (Old Homestead #2)
The Mallards and Their Neighbors - Neil Wayne Northey

The Mallards and Their Neighbors is the second of four volumes of Neil Wayne Northey’s Old Homestead series.  Like the first volume, this is a quick and pleasant children’s book that follows the lives of numerous animals that inhabit the area around the Duck Pond though the titular Mallards with brief appearances by Mr. Bluebird.  Although this is the second book of the series, it can be read before the first volume and still provide enjoyment to young children either reading on their own or being read to by their parents.
