As Christians, we find it increasingly difficult to live in this world at a time when we are constantly bombarded with many negative influences and temptations. We feel that we are at war with this world. Many broken and hurt people need Bible-based Christian counseling centers. However, many Christians preach against it.

In the Bible in the book of Proverbs, chapter 24 verses 5 and 6 it says: "The wise man has great power, and the man of knowledge increases his strength; guidance is needed for warfare and many advisers for victory. We are advised in God's word to seek a christian counselor. He goes on to say in verse 7 "Wisdom is too high for a fool." We are fools for not doing it.

Some value the accumulation of knowledge, but Paul pointed out to the Colossians in chapter one, verses 9 through 14, that knowledge itself is empty. To be worth anything, it must lead to a change of life and correct life. Paul prayed for the Colossians "asking God to fill them with the knowledge of his will through all wisdom and spiritual understanding. And we ask this so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power according to his glorious strength, so that you may have great patience and patience, and giving thanks to the Father with joy ... "

Olivia and Thad are a mystery that really shouldn't work, yet they are at their best when they are being their worst. From intriguing to dramatic, Phillips sets off sparks with an uproar that deserves a standing ovation.

Asher has traveled the world.  Mostly a loner, he finds he does well in his isolated lifestyle.  Meeting the most important woman never even entered his thoughts.  Now that he has, he has no idea what to do about it.

The mot unlikely couples tend to be the very best ones, in my opinion.  This story was very much that in so many ways.  Always a favorite one click author for me, this holiday jaunt into the pages was an unexpectedly slow burn of epic proportions.  The characters were fun and had depth, if you get past the belittling characters in the front of the book.  Worth the read however, as it hits the HEA jackpot before it ends.  I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
