Bringing Home the Bad Boy
Bringing Home the Bad Boy - Jessica Lemmon

Evan lost his wife very unexpectedly 4 years ago. Their son Lyon is now 7. Evan decided it was time to sell the house she died in and move. He moves next door (2 houses down) from Charlotte AKA Ace/Aunt Charlie. Charlie was Rae's BFF, honorary aunt, and she had a serious childhood crush on Evan.
I went into this one a bit unsure how I would feel. I really didn't like Charlie's insecurities and her constantly bringing up Rae as a barrier to their starting a relationship. On the other hand, I really liked Evan and how he really, really fought for Charlie and stood up for her when needed. I did think Charlie said "I'm sorry" way too much. Russell was a first class asshole. Overall, this was just an okay friends to lovers romance.

A Snowbound Scandal (Dallas Billionaires Club #2) by Jessica Lemmon
A Snowbound Scandal - Jessica Lemmon

You can't go back, you can only move forward. That's a mantra we all live by, in life and in love. Regrets. We all have them. A constant reminder of where we've been and where we're going. They help us become who we are. However, there are moments that become exceptions. What happens when your greatest regret becomes the link to your present happiness?

Jessica Lemmon takes a walk down memory lane with Chase and Miriam. They once had it all, until it all became too much. Can a chance encounter with the past guide them toward a future together? A Snowbound Scandal brings Christmas a few months early. The perfect gift all year round. A passionate tale of love lost and found.

Rumor Has It - Jessica Lemmon

This is book #4, in the Real Love series.  This book can be read as a standalone novel.  For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend this series be read in order.

Barrett has to "pretend" date another reporter, so they can make ratings magic.  Not a stranger to the publicity stunt genre - he decides to go for it.  Then he meets the elusive Catarina.

Catalina has never been so insulted.  She already has a boyfriend - why must her boss play this game?  Barrett is no prize.  Ratings is the key here.  Only the attraction she is feeling seems to be mutual.....

This book was sparks galore from almost word one.  The very sexy characters banter well.  The book has a great pace, and lots of heat to keep one turning the page.  This is a great addition to the series.  I give this story a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

***This book was provided by Netgalley and its publishers in exchange for an honest review.

Rumor Has It - Jessica Lemmon

OMG I am in love with Barrett Fox!  He was so cocky, funny and sexy all at the same time!  Barrett was a football player but after a career ending injury, he decides to go into broadcasting.  Well, when his cocky mouth gets him in trouble, he ends up being assigned a job at The Columbus Dispatch in Columbus, OH by the boss Mia Blakely.  Mia decides she wants her prim and proper journalist, Catarina Everhart to fake date bad-boy Barrett and the two of them will each write a column from their own point of view for the on-line Columbus Community Chat.

These two couldn't be more perfect together.  Fox loves to fly by the seat of his pants.  Cat loves order to her life and only does things pre-planned.  She even picked out her perfect boyfriend based on certain criteria.  What starts out as hate relationship quickly turns into something more.  Cat starts to realize that there is more to Fox than the cocky jock.  The fake dating these two do is so perfect.  They keep trying to one up each other and that just adds to fun.

Overall I just LOVED this book.  I loved both of the characters and loved the journey they went on to get to their happy ending.  If you love fun, sexy, laugh out loud stories, read this one...you will not be sorry!

Rumor Has It
Rumor Has It - Jessica Lemmon Perfection does not exist. It's a human trait to gloss over the flaws, never seeing what's really there. Jessica Lemmon never does that. She keeps it real. With oodles of humor and exceptional characters, she makes the hard moments bearable for the characters she creates and the readers she enchants. Catrina and Barrett are colleagues with a love - hate relationship. He loves to push her buttons. She hates the way he makes her feel. He hates her uptight attitude. She loves to put him in his place. Rumor Has It takes us beyond the verbal banter and sexual intensity. The first person narrative allows us into the soul of the characters. What begins as a battle of wills becomes an empathetic look at what it means to be human. Something we all can relate to.
