RELEASE BLITZ - Happy Forever After Darkness by Clarissa Wild
Happy Forever After Darkness (A Novella) - Clarissa Wild

Title: Happy Forever After Darkness
Author: Clarissa Wild
Genre: Dark Romance
Release Date: December 14, 2016

A return to the dark side …

Four stories, intertwined by fate.

There is nothing these men and women won’t do for the love they fought so hard to keep.

Three years have passed since their worlds collided, but their stories have yet to end.

As Daniel and Ava learn to cope with their new reality, they decide to take the ultimate step toward freedom, but it’s not without cost.

For Angel and Sky, returning to the place where they met isn’t without regrets.

While Viktor and Alexis discover an old friend has disappeared, they uncover something they weren’t prepared for.

And while Phoenix and Vanessa are blissfully unaware of what’s about to go down, there’s at least one person who will always have their back …

An old friend no one saw coming.

This is a novella. It’s NOT a standalone. It’s recommended to read the following books first: Stalker, Twenty-One, Ultimate Sin, and Viktor. Make sure to also check out Mr. X, the book that started it all!

Phoenix slams the door shut behind her and immediately turns around and barges toward me just so he can lock me in his arms and twirl me around.

“Yes! Viva Las Vegas, baby!” I yell, grinning like mad.

“You happy, princess?” he asks as he lowers me to the ground again, still holding me close.

“I love it …” I muse. “It’s exactly what I wanted. How I pictured us together.”

The lopsided smile on his face makes me lick my lips, and he grabs my chin and inches closer.

“C’mere, sweet cheeks.” He smashes his lips onto mine with full fervor, not sparing even a second to breathe. Every time he kisses me, I feel like I can live forever, and now that we have this house, the home of my dreams, together … it just feels like I can finally live my happy forever after.

“It’s a big home,” I murmur as our lips unlock.

“Maybe we should have a housewarming party,” he says, wriggling his eyebrows.

“Housewarming?” I frown. “We don’t have any f … Oh …” Finally, I get what he means.

He grins, and his tongue dips out to lick his lips as he growls. “Oh, yes, princess. Time to get the chains out.”

He kisses my chin and runs his tongue all the way down my neck, and I moan softly from his touch.

“Where do you want it, princess?” he whispers against my skin. “We can do it everywhere … in the kitchen. On the table. On the stairs. Or maybe against the wall.” He picks me up below the hips and pushes me up against the wall.

“We have all the time in the world,” I say. “Why not everywhere?”

“Good thinking.” He grins.

“Not a lot of furniture to use for fucking, though,” I add. “It’s still so empty.”

“We’ll go shopping tomorrow,” he growls, pressing his lips between my breasts.

“I don’t mean just that. I mean … this house … it has so many rooms. What will we do with them?”

“You wanna worry about that now?” he growls as he rips down his zipper. “While I’m on the verge of fucking your pussy raw?”

“I wanna know what you’re thinking,” I reply. “What we’re gonna do now that we finally have a place to call home.”

“What do you mean?” he says, stalling in the middle of pulling down his pants.

“I don’t know. I mean it’s an awfully big home to fill up with just the two of us.”

He tilts his head back, his eyebrows drawing together. “What are you saying, princess? Are you seriously thinking …”

“What?” I shrug.

“No …” Phoenix shakes his head.

“You don’t want …”

“Us? A baby?” He laughs, and with the face he’s making, he has me laughing too. “Stop making silly jokes, princess. You know we aren’t cut out for that shit. Next thing you know, someone’s calling us Mommy and Daddy. I’m not that old.”

Closing my eyes, I shake my head. “You’re right. I don’t even know why I thought of it.” Probably because people always say you should start a family before you can be happy. But who am I kidding? Me, a mother? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.

“We’re together … on our own … and no one’s gonna tear us apart. I’d say that’s reason enough to celebrate.” He grins against my lips and his hands suddenly grip my hips, jerking down my pants. “Now … where were we?”

Other Books In The Series
12661963_1552262795089386_8678748056087174611_nD. S. Wrights was born and raised mostly in Germany. She speaks three languages fluently: English, German and Dutch. Her name is a pen name and she describes writing as her passion and calling.
Two short stories were published during high school, one as a school project and one in a regional newsletter. Later she worked at a publishing house where she earned insight into the work, process and production of publishing books.
In the last few years she has published several fan fictions to which the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
The Beast And Me is her first published novel.
D.S. hasn't always written stories like The Beast And Me and she is still writing stories from all kinds of genres that do not have horror aspects or are targeting adults only. Those stories are published with under a different name. So if you like her writing style but not really the genre, you might want to check out her other books, which soon will be published.
Her name actually is a play on words and language. D.S. is put together from the initials of her internet name and Wrights simply has the same sound as writes.
Before writing she prefers to bring herself in the right mood for the story, listening to specific songs, reading through what she has written before and especially talk about the story with friends and fans. So feel free to write to her.

Sugar Daddy's Baby by Julia Bramer
Sugar Daddy's BabySugar Daddy's Baby by Julia Bramer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have mixed feelings about this book, while I liked it there were parts that I didn't enjoy which surprised me because I have rated two of Julia Bramer's other books with five stars.

Lets start with what I did like:
The story line was great, Cockaigne a land of plenty in medieval myth, an imaginary place of extreme luxury and ease where physical comforts and pleasures are always immediately at hand and where the harshness of medieval peasant life does not exist has been brought to life by Duke. There is so much that can be said about Duke but that will give away to much of the plot, so all I will say is that he was my least favorite character...for obvious reasons but you'll have to read the book to see what they are.
Marley Williams is just months away from getting her medical license in psychiatry, she is a strong female character that has overcome many obstacles in her life. But when she finds out about Cockaigne from one of her patients (Sara) she does something that no psychiatrist should ever do, she follows the bread crumbs because she thought Sara was making everything up, and finds herself in the real as day private sex club that Sara spoke about....(uninvited I might add) .
Max West is the sexy as sin District Attorney content in his life although he does not feel fulfilled, when he meets Marley things start to change for him.....in a good way.

What I didn't like about the book:
It started off HOT! Like off the charts melt your kindle HOT and then we are in the hospital wondering what the heck happened because there was nothing to prepare us for the switch, from that point on we get flashbacks of everything that happened to Marley after her one visit to Cockaigne. I wish I could say that it continued to sizzle but it didn't, we are pulled into a dark, twisted, and convoluted story so much so that I actually had to put the book down for a day to regroup before continuing. That being said, as the story unfolded I held out hope that Marley would get her HEA with the sexy Max West even when it didn't look good at times.

Some may say that there was a love-triangle going on in this story but I wouldn't describe it like that at all, I would say that there is more than meets the eye with them, and love didn't come into play at all with a couple of the key players. If you enjoy a dark romantic story I would give this book a read.

Sugar Free by Sawyer Bennett
Sugar Free (Sugar Bowl #3)Sugar Free by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you read my review for Sugar Daddy or Sugar Rush I had this disclaimer at the beginning of it and I feel the need to post it for this book as well:
I am going to start out by saying that if sexual assault is a trigger you may want to pass on reading this, while we do not witness the actual gang rape of Sela Halstead on her 16th birthday we do get several vivid flashbacks. That being said this was a good story with a strong female character who is determined to seek revenge against her rapists and she doesn't mind having to go to jail for it either, but that was all before she met Beckett North Jr..

What an amazing conclusion to the trilogy. Sawyer Bennett definitely used her knowledge of the law to bring us this nail-biting read, just when you think things are going to go one way something happens to change the course. I am not going to post any spoilers but just be warned that once you pick the book up you will not want to put it down until you have completed it. Oh an keep some tissues handy because you will most likely need them. Sela and Beck's love for one another knows no bounds, they will do whatever is needed to keep their love safe and it's a testament to how perfect they are for one another. The Epilogue was the cherry on top the the proverbial sundae, PERFECT! This book ties up everything with a neat bow, no more cliffhangers, no wondering what happened to whom, and all your questions are answered....promise :)
