The Book Blog at the End of the Universe
I really enjoyed this book for a number of reasons. One being that the paranormal story was different but intriguing and had a lot of depth in it, without giving away too much about the story. What surprised me the most was that I found myself forgetting that it WAS a paranormal story at times, and ...

To my everlasting shame... this is my guilty guilty pleasure read. Absolutely nothing in this book makes sense, but that's okay, because I am not reading this baby for sense. I'm sure there are better guilty pleasure reads out there but that's the rub of a guilt pleasure read. You don't choose it, i...

I liked this book and I really wanted to give it more stars. The writing was good, the characters are interesting and well developed but this book has (like many before it) fallen in to the "series trap."Now some people may not mind this but it is my new pet peeve. The book starts out really well, I...

This book is... odd. Very odd. It is basically a book of disjointed scenes, held together by the fact that they all feature the same characters. The first half of this book is your typical teenage he-loves-she-loves love triangle saga - complete with a football game, a bizarre homecoming, a girl-fig...

Every criticism I have about this book could have been prevented by a committed editor. Someone needed to be there to say, "Hey, that's an interesting detail. Could you back up a few steps and flesh it out a little?" Or, "The narrator seems to be putting things together. Why isn't she acting on it?"...
