I went into this book expecting to be scared by it, and expecting to love it. While I was somewhat scared by it, I, unfortunately, didn't like it very much. I really didn't like Winston very well. He is a weak, lustful, unpleasant character who contemplates murder and rape. I didn't like Julia. Sh...
Winston Smith arbeitet im Ministerium für Wahrheit in einem totalitären Überwachungsstaat. "I had won the victory over myself. I finished this book" I am giving this book a 4 not because I loved it, I hated it with a passion, but because it was really good. I hated it for the reasons the author probably intended on purpose. So as much as I'd rather burn the book because of what it did t...
