Such a beautiful book. I wish it was longer, not because it felt unfinished, but because the story has an epic feel, with such rich prose, that I wanted every single detail spelled out. I was so immersed in the story I often felt genuinely anxious about how this couple could possibly make it.

WOW it was good. One of those books that make you wonder why they don't write like this anymore. A love blooms between a Jewish man and Christian lady. Powerful stuff.
